A truly moving documentary (I love you, PBS)

So a few days ago I caught an amazing episode of Nature on PBS about a Bengal tiger in Ranthambhore National Park named Broken Tail. The documentary actually chronicles filmmaker Colin Stafford-Johnson’s journey to find what happened to Broken Tail after he mysteriously disappeared from the park one day. I’ll warn you the story is a sad one as is the plight of the dwindling tiger population. The footage the filmmakers captured over Broken Tail’s short life is amazing, though, and I highly recommend you watch Broken Tail: A Tiger’s Last Journey.

You can watch it here on PBS’s Nature website. It’s about an hour, and it will take your breath away.
